LAWN
MOWING
Mow
all lawn areas; trim obstacles, clear grass clippings from walks and drives
after each mowing. Mow as needed as weather permits to maintain the lawns at
a height of no more than 3 inches. Our equipment includes Walker, Honda, and
John Deere mowers.
SPRING
AND FALL CLEAN UP
Provide both a spring and fall cleanup of grounds to include blowing and
collection of leaves from all lawn areas, beds, and paved areas. We will
provide the service both during and after the fall drop. In spring, all
lawns and beds will be cleaned to remove all fallen branches and trash
accumulated during the winter. WALKS AND
DRIVEWAY BLOWING
We will blow all driveways, walks and patios to remove dirt and debris.
PRUNING
SHRUBS
All shrubs, bushes and ornamental plantings will be pruned and shaped as is
appropriate to the plant species.
MULCHING OF
BEDS
All shrub and flowerbeds will receive a renewed coating of much to a depth
of 2 inches or less. EDGING OF
WALKS
All concrete walks will be edged a minimum of three times during the duration
of the season depending on growth rate and weather. EDGING OF
BEDS
We will apply a motorized edging to all shrubs and flowerbeds on the property
as determined by the growth rate. TREE
PRUNING
All ornamental and fruit trees will be thinned and pruned during the course of
the contract at the time appropriate to the species. Cutting will be collected
and disposed of as agreed. Trees that are mulched will be re-mulched for any
disturbed area within the boundaries of the trees. The primary time for
pruning will be the winter months of dormancy.GENERAL
CLEANING
At each visit, we will police lawns, bed and walks to remove any debris. CHEMICAL
APPLICATIONS FOR LAWNS
For all our herbicide, fungicide, and insecticide lawn applications for our
customers, we consult with the Pacific Turf Center in Portland. We gather soil
samples and have them tested and then design a specific fertilization
formulation for your lawn. This approach results in specific and reduced
amounts of chemicals needed to be applied to the lawns of our customers. We
will provide all label information of all chemicals to our customers who
wish to review it and will inform them at least 24 hours in advance of our
chemical applications. The
following chemical applications will be provided:
- BASIC
Four separate granular treatments of a balanced fertilizer will be applied during the
growing season.

- COMPLETE NUTRIENT AND PESTICIDE CONTROL
Five fertilizations during the season
Crain fly control application
Lime application
Broadleaf control application
Moss control application
Soil sampling and testing for soil acidity to determine the need for
lime or other chemicals / elements to correct soil condition
SPECIAL
WEATHER EVENTS
In the event of an adverse storm or other weather event in which the grounds
are strewn with fallen or blown debris, we will clean the area damaged by
these weather events and bill the owner for the cost of any work required in
accordance with our hourly rate for labor and equipment. This work is in
addition and outside of the contract. FRUIT
TREE SPRAYING
We will apply fungicide, insecticide and dormant oil sprays needed for the
health, fruit production and harvest of your fruit trees. Our State of
Oregon pesticide operator's license is available for inspection.
FERTILIZE SHRUBS, BUSHES AND FLOWERS
We will apply foliar, granular or liquid fertilizer to shrubs, bushes and
flowers. PRE/POST EMERGENT HERBICIDES
We will apply two pre-emergent and three post emergent herbicide
applications for the control of weeds to all bedded areas. YEARLY
DUMPING FEE
If a burn pile is not available, we will dispose of all cuttings and
debris on the grounds of the Lane County solid waste site. If a burn pile
is available, we will conduct the burn in accordance with the burn
regulations of Lane County. AERATION
A thorough mechanical aeration of all lawn areas will be provided
on a yearly schedule. DE-THATCHING
A complete de-thatching will be provided in response to a thatch problem
in the turf. SELECTION
/ INSTALLATION OF ANNUAL, PERENNIAL, FLOWERS, SHRUBS, BUSHES, FRUIT AND
ORNAMENTAL TREES
as a service to our customers, we can select and plant any annual of
perennial flowers, bushes, shrubs, fruit and ornamental trees. Our
experience has taught us that it works best if the customer chooses the
tree or shrub from one of the local nurseries and then we will pick them
and plant them. For customers who are not local, we can provide specific
digital pictures for review and decision. VACATION
/ OWNER ABSENCE SECURITY CHECKS
As a service to our customers on vacations, or that will be away from
their homes or live in other areas, we will provide you a weekly check of
the premises at unscheduled times. We will work in cooperation with all
neighborhood watch programs.
